Emma's Baptism

We went to mom's for lunch after church today. We decided to take pictures on the front porch because Landon needed a family picture for school and of course the kiddos got silly with the pictures.

Then we headed to church later to see Emma get baptized. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior July 4th and she was ready to make her profession of faith tonight. Here is everyone that came to support her tonight. She is loved so much!

Here she is with Mark, our children's director. I love how she is looking at him. She was a little nervous, but knew she was safe with him and her daddy in the water with her.

We then went to eat at Applebee's. It was Emma's choice since it was her big, special night! Then we got frozen yogurt before heading home! What a great day!

There's A New Puppy in the House

I leave Landon to himself for a few minutes while I am doing things around the house and come back to him in Georgia's sweater. Haha!! I got to admit, he is pretty cute in it!

First Day of School 2018

Today, we officially have a second grader and a pre-schooler. Emma was so excited to start her second grade year. I hope she always remembers what her shirt says- kindness over everything!!

 Landon was too excited to start "big boy" school as he has been calling pre-school. 

I am pretty sure his book bag with two towels and his lunchbox attached weighed more than he did this morning.  

 As a teacher, I have to be at school extra early on the first day of school each year. It is tradition that Scott takes the kiddos on their first day. 

 Here is Landon with his teacher, Mrs. Faircloth- the same teacher Emma had when she was in pre-school three years ago. 

 Here is Emma with her second grade teacher, Mrs. Paul. Emma had Mrs. Paul's sister, Mrs. Moon last year in first grade. 

 Here are our two sweet ones walking together after school was over. Emma left her room and picked up Landon where the pre-schoolers sit after arriving to my school from the pre-k center. Then they walked down to my room. Emma is being such a sweet, big sister and Landon is following her every move back to my room. 

 It was a great first day for everyone!!

Sunday Swim Day

Landon had fun swimming today at NaeNae's neighbor's house. Emma did too but was too busy to get her picture taken. Thnakful both kiddos love the water and are comfortable in the water!

Saturday Morning Ride

When Friday night golf cart riding isn't enough, they go riding Saturday morning as well!

Dinner & Golf Cart Riding

The kids stayed with NaeNae tonight and ate spaghetti before going to ride the golf cart around the neighborhood. I would say it was a fun Friday night for them!
