First Dance Recital

Emma had her first dance recital this morning. She has been working so hard in dance since September. This picture was taken right before we left for dress rehearsal about a week ago. I straightened her hair so it would do better in the bun. She looks so different with straight hair.

Here she is looking at the little bit of makeup I put on her before going to the stage for dress rehearsal.

I love the color purple on her! And could she get any sweeter looking?!?

Here we are after her official dance recital. She did awesome on the stage. I was a little nervous when I dropped her off with her group because she was being clingy to me, but she did exactly what she was suppose to on stage during both dances. 

We were so proud of her!!!!

 Here is her awesome teacher, Zan. She taught dance to nine 2-3 year olds in Emma's class. She is so patient with them!! Her daughter, Emma helped out as well.

 Once last picture of Emma after her recital before we were off to celebrate by eating Emma's favorite- cheese dip at the local Mexican restaurant! :)

Cinco de Mayo

She would be content to eat Moe's on a weekly basis if we let her! We celebrated Cindo de Mayo by going to Moe's tonight. We figured it would not be as crowded as other restaurants in our town. She loves their soft tacos & really really loves their cheese dip! We love it too, but what we don't love is the one stop coke station they have!!! Coke never tastes right out of that machine. It always tastes fruity!!

Pretzels & Sophia

I picked Emma up from school the other day and surprised her by taking her to the mall to get pretzels for a snack. She loves the pretzels and cheese. 

 She loved looking at the water fountain while we ate our snack. Then she threw a few coins into the fountain.

 She has also recently started liking Sophia. She wanted to put her nightgown and necklace on soon after getting home from church today. She takes after me! I am ready to get into some comfy clothes as soon as I can after getting home from work!

My Sweet Girl & My Growing Belly

We went to Atlanta over Spring Break and Emma crashed while we were at the mall after visiting the Aquarium. I sat down with her while Scott ran into Gap. I was 25 weeks pregnant here. 

Then the other day she wanted to wear her Rapunzel dress and lay in my lap while watching TV. I was 27 weeks pregnant in this picture. 

Pretty soon Landon will be poking her in the head while she lays on my lap. He is squirming all around while I am writing this. I can't wait to see her in Big Sister mode!! :)

Camp Out

We came home last night from having Easter at my mom's and Emma wanted her tent. Scott put it up and she laid down on her old crib mattress that we had out getting ready to put it in Landon's nursery. She had it made while watching her movie! 

Easter 2014

We did not get a family picture of us all dressed up this year. :/ Maybe we will do better next year! After church, we went to my mom's house where Scott's dad & family came to eat lunch with all of us. Then we went outside to let Emma hunt Easter eggs. She soon realized NaeNae put coins in some of the eggs and didn't want anything to do with the eggs that didn't make sound when she picked them up. :)

 Emma's friend, Jaxon, came over to play with her and they had so much fun riding the jeep together. Then Emma got brave and drove the jeep for the very first time all by herself. She has had it since Christmas, but has been scared to drive it. She soon realized how much fun it really was to drive!!

Knows Her Daddy's Heart!

This girl knows the way to her daddy's heart! A Braves shirt while also wearing a Red Sox hat is the only way to go!!!! :)

Then the other day, she told Scott she wanted to wear her "B" hat! So of course he put it on her as fast as he could! We have an infant "B" hat for Landon too! :)
