Rare Snuggle Time

Landon loves to be snuggled up close, especially when I am wearing him in his carrier. This night I nursed him and he fell asleep during the process and then stayed asleep on me like this for awhile. I was soaking up the extra sweet snuggles. Most of the time, he will not fall asleep on me unless he is in his carrier! He is such a sweet boy!!

Fall Beach Trip

This past weekend was our third time going to the beach in October! We did not make it last year because we were saving up to go to Disney World last November, but we did go the previous two years. I love going to the beach in October. The weather is awesome, the water is clear, and it isn't crowded!! Landon loved sleeping on the beach!!
Emma loved playing in the sand and splashing in the water!!

Emma took a break from playing to take some selfies with me!!
Landon decided it was nice enough to nap again while listening to the waves crash and the breeze blowing.
Scott bought Emma this turtle float and she loved playing with it in the water. The water was so calm and crystal clear.
Later Friday night, we went to let Emma ride some fait type rides and ride go-carts with Scott and NaeNae.
The next day, we tried Landon out in the water. He loved the beach and being outside-
but was NOT feeling the water at all!! I think it was a little cold for him.
A group picture of our family of four! It might very well be the first picture of all of us besides the hospital pictures of all of us together.
Emma loving on Landon while lounging at the condo!
It was such a nice getaway!! Until the next time we find ourselves at the beach!!!

Fun Park

Emma chose to go to Fun Park as her treat for doing an awesome job at the dentist this past week. She got to ride a few of the inside rides and play some games before going to ride go-carts with Scott and Bubba!

Emma's First Official Dentist Trip

I took Emma to the dentist in June, but she was not feeling it so we rescheduled it for today. I actually called this week to see about pushing it further back because I was not sure how she was going to do at this trip. We bribed her with either a trip to Chuck E. Cheese or to Fun Park. She said she wanted to go to Fun Park. We told her she had to do exactly what the lady was telling her to do with no drama! :) Scott took her this morning after dropping Landon off at daycare and she did awesome!! He said she went right in the chair and did everything she was told! Her teeth look great! We are so proud of her!!
Then Scott took her to Chick Fil A for breakfast before going back to school. It looks like we will be going to Fun Park sometime this week to celebrate!!

First Soccer Game

Today was Emma's first soccer game! She sure did look mighty cute in her jersey, purple socks, and cleats. She practiced really good Tuesday afternoon with her team. She kicked her pink ball like she had been kicking it for awhile. This morning was a different story! She did not want to go out on the field. She would go if someone held her hand. She wanted her pink ball and not the white one that they were playing with during the game. She pretty much sat in mine or my mom's lap. She was like this last year when she first started taking dance and this year she loves it!! So we are hoping it was just all new to her and next week she will do much better!

Landon's New Piano

Mom, Emma, and I went to Target a few days ago and bought this piano toy. I had been thinking about getting it for Landon. When Mom and Emma were in Savannah, another baby there had one and loved it. Landon loves it! He will tap the piano with his foot and it will make noises. He also likes to just lay there and look around at everything. Just about every time he lays on it, he shifts his bod sideways. Emma loves laying down there with him and talking to him!

A Place for Schoolwork

I have been wanting to buy one of these for awhile and just recently came across a picture from a coworker who had one displayed in her house. I found out where she got it from and went right away to the store to get it. I am in love that I can now display Emma's schoolwork for us to see daily. Landon will have his displayed too when he starts bringing some home. As we take her schoolwork down, Emma's goes into a tupperware container to keep. She loves to go through and look at all of her schoolwork from time to time. We will have to buy Landon a tupperware container very soon to begin storing his precious work!!
