Landon is learning young how to take a selfie!!!! He was even sweet enough to include his big sissy in it with him!

An Afternoon at PawPaw's!

After work today, I went to pick up the kids and then we went to my dad's for a little while. He just recently bought Landon an infant swing to add to the play set he bought Emma one Christmas. Landon loved swinging and stayed in it for awhile just looking around and enjoying the breeze!

 Emma enjoyed a freeze pop while we were there. Landon even got himself a few bites of flavored ice too!

 My dad even bought Emma a new disk swing to add the the swing set. She wasn't so sure of it at first, but learned to love it before we left. 

 Landon enjoyed sitting on the ledge under the shade while Emma played on the slide and with the rope that came with the swing set. Landon loves being outside and Emma always loved being outside as a baby too!

Nine Months Old!!!

We have a nine month old in our house now!! Landon finally decided soon after he turned eight months old to start sitting up like a big boy! He is having so much more fun playing with his toys and looking all around the room. He is still such a happy baby boy! He is saying "dada" and "da" all the time! I thought he had learned the word dog (da) but then we realized he is saying that for other things other than Cali, but he says "da" every time he sees her so he very well could be saying "dog"!! :) He gets so happy when he sees Emma! We are so in love with this cutie!!

Feeding Himself

Landon has recently decided it would be fun to spoon feed himself at some of his meals! Surprisingly he does a pretty good job! He knows exactly where to put that spoon! He is also doing a great job at picking up cheerios, puffs, and cheese with his fingers.

Atlanta Zoo

We woke up Sunday and headed to the Atlanta Zoo after grabbing breakfast at the hotel.

We were in the bird exhibit where you can feed them.

Emma loves these cutout picture props now!! She wants to pose with every single one she sees.

She enjoyed being up close with the animals.

We took some time out of seeing animals to play on the playground.

She LOVES these statues of the animals and wants her picture with them all. She even insisted on having Landon join her for a picture.

A Weekend in Atlanta & Athens

We headed to Atlanta and Athens for the weekend. We went up to Atlanta Friday morning and made several different shopping stops along the way. 

One stop was to Bass Pro. Emma loved this duck and looking at the big fish tank!

They were well rested Saturday morning after waking up and ready to start our day. We were heading to Athens for the day. 

Of course we had to change out of our doggie pajamas for a Georgia Bulldog shirt to wear while watching the game. 

 Our first stop was to a park we love in Athens. It has a nice playground, huge pond with ducks, and a small free zoo. We were last in Athens with Emma when she was 22 months old, so we decided to take her picture at the same spot and compare how much she has changed in the last two years. 

 Then we went to show Emma where Scott lived when he went to school in Athens. After we got to downtown Athens, we grabbed lunch and headed to the stadium to watch the Georgia Bulldogs play their Spring G-Day game. 

 After a few minutes of sitting in the stands, Landon was ready to get up and walk around. We made our way to the hedges where Emma got to see Uga.

 We left the field and went to the bookstore. Then I went into the student center to feed Landon. Scott and Emma walked around the university and to go ring the big bell and to run around some. 

We went back to our hotel to rest up for Sunday when we went to the Atlanta Zoo. Another post is coming on the trip to the zoo.
