Past Couple of Days

Here is Emma on her first train ride of the season. I am sure there will be several more trips to the mall just to ride the train. She was so excited!!
Scott and I braved ourselves to rearrange and reorganize her room and all of her toy bins. She has several toy bins and they had gotten all mixed up. Now we have them separated with stuffed animals, books, dolls, and balls and such.
This picture makes this OCD mama very happy!! :)
We met Scott's family in Valdosta for Thanksgiving dinner. Then we went to Toys R Us to get toys for their church's toy drive. Emma had fun picking out toys that she knew were not for her! It is never too early to teach that giving is much better than receiving.

Thanksgiving Feast

Emma had a Thanksgiving Feast at her school today. I took off work so I could be there with her. She loved having me there! They had turkey, green beans, macaroni and cheese, bread, and cupcakes. She enjoyed the cupcakes the most! :)
Here is Karoline, one of her sweet classmates.
Here is another one of her classmates, Brooks.
This is Emma and Abby. They were in the same class for awhile until they moved Emma up due to her birthday. Abby's mom and I teach right across the hall from each other. Emma was in a silly mood after her cupcake. :) We left the feast and went home to nap!!

Emma's Weekend

Friday night she stayed with my mom, NaeNae. She wanted to be dressed just like my mom, but the clothes we packed for her to sleep in did not look like NaeNae's clothes. So my mom gave her one of her shirts to wear. :)
Then Saturday, we had a Fall social with our Sunday School class. They had bouncy houses, hayrides, lots of food, and fun fellowship. This is Emma and her sweet friend Jaxon. They love each other. They had their arms around each other. We need to keep an eye on these two! :)

Magic Kingdom

We decided to take Emma to Disney World this past weekend because 1. She loves all things Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! 2. She was free! 3. What adult needs a true reason to be a kid again??!? :) We were in Orlando for 3 nights and did other things around Orlando, but did spend one whole day (opening-closing) at Magic Kingdom! We all had a blast!! This was Emma's third trip to Magic Kingdom. She went at 5 months, 18 months, and now at almost 3.
She rode every single ride she could based on height requirements. I think there were only four rides she could ride due to not being tall enough. She even rode Haunted Mansion! She rode Goofy's Rollercoaster like four times. She loves riding a carousel anytime she can, so riding it at the most magical place on Earth was no different!
We loved Dumbo!!! We loved waiting in this line because half way through they have a playground the kids get to play on until it is time for your family to get back in line to get on the ride. Smart thinking Magic Kingdom!
She was SO excited about riding the Little Mermaid ride and meeting Ariel. She did both of those at least twice!!
Then it was time to meet some of her most favorite characters. Goofy scared her but I think it was because he was standing up when we approached him and he was super tall!!
She was still a little afraid when we got to Donald Duck!
But got more comfortable by the time we reached Daisy Duck and was good to go with Minnie & Mickey Mouse.
Then we were off to ride more rides.
I'm pretty sure Emma crashed for a nap in her stroller shortly after this ride!!!
After we had ridden all of the rides and some more than once, we made our way to get settled for the parade, light show, and fireworks.
She was on Scott's shoulders watching the night parade.
I love what they do to the castle at night!! They were all so pretty.
We had a blast!!! I'm sure we will be back before too long!

Our Sweet Bumble Bee

We had a cute little bumble bee for Halloween this year! I was lucky enough to borrow it from a co-worker, who even had the cutest shoes to go with the outfit. And it all fit Emma so well!! Here she was trying it on for the first time at home.
Then on Wednesday, we went to a Trunk-or-Treat a local church was hosting. It was very neat the way they put it all together. Emma played some games and then went to three or four rows of cars where they passed out candy from their trunks. She loved getting candy. She would often check and recheck her bag to make sure the candy was in there. :)
Then on Thursday, we went to the church where I grew up in and went to their Fall Festival. She played games and then we ate hotdogs before getting a big bag of candy.
