Week 4

How are we already in week four with sweet Savannah?!? The older two are off of school this week for Thanksgiving break. Emma and Landon spent time with NaeNae this past Saturday.
Sunday brought snuggles from Landon!
Savannah decided to take a nap in our bed this past Tuesday where Landon was still sleeping. He is enjoying the late mornings sleeping in since he does not have school this week.
I cannot wait to see how their relationship grows over time.
Emma and NaeNae went to the Clay Spot this past Tuesday to do some painting.
The Williams took these two awesome kiddos to the movies Tuesday evening with these two awesome kiddos and the Williams! They spoiled them with candy and big icee drinks! They had a busy Tuesday!
We got out of the house for a little bit today and let the older two ride their bikes while Savannah rode in the stroller. It was a beautiful day! She was dressed and ready to cheer on the dawgs this evening!

Sparkle Dots & Jingle Bells

Sparkle Dots always visits us Thanksgiving night. Landon really wanted Jingle Bells from NaeNae's house to come be our elf over here with Sparkle Dots. He picked out Jingle Bells last year with NaeNae for her house. He was so happy when he woke up this morning to find that Jingle Bells and Sparkle Dots will both be at our house from now on during the Christmas season.
They were hiding in our candy bucket on top of the refrigerator.

Savannah's First Thanksgiving

Here are our three little turkeys Thanksgiving afternoon outside our house.
We went to NaeNae's house for Thanksgiving dinner. My dad came over to eat with us and then my brother and his family were there as well!
You can tell Savannah was real excited about her first Thanksgiving. :) Maybe next year when she can eat all of the food, she will show a little more excitement on that cute face of hers.
My mom already has her house decorated for Christmas.
PawPaw holding sleepy Savannah.
Emma and Savannah will soon get a lot of play time together in this play room at NaeNae's house.
We were giving Bubba a hard time because he always looks like he has a forced smile in pictures.
NaeNae's birthday was November 2, the day after Savannah was born. Life has been busy the past few weeks, but we got around to giving her a belated birthday gift. It is a canvas of the three kiddos from Savannah's newborn session.

Landon's Fall Picnic

Landon had his fall picnic today. My mom and Scott went to be with him during his picnic. I did not go to his picnic since my class eats right beside his class. I did not want all of my kiddos to come up to Savannah since she is less than a month old. He requested a turkey sandwich from Fire House and then strawberries to go with it. :) Here he is with his teacher, Mrs. Whitman before the picnic.
He was working on a fall math graph with his classmates.
Here he is at the picnic.
Then my mom took him to play on the playground before they went back to her house.

Week 3 with Savannah

Week three with Savannah started with a visit from Dallas and her mama. She was in love with Savannah the moment she met her.
She took a nap on my lap this past Monday with super duper crazy hair. I guess that is what happens when we don't brush her hair after bath and before bed from the night before.
Here is a preview of her newborn session. We are in love with this picture and the completion of our family!
My aunt made this hat and blanket for Savannah!
On Wednesday, she took a good nap in our bed. I know she felt all warm and cozy on our flannel sheets.
Emma and Landon were being silly last night with their fries at Chick-fil-A!
Tonight, she enjoyed her first real tub bath.
Emma and Landon are the best big sister and brother to Savannah and have transitioned so well to having a baby sister in the house.

Week 2 at Home with Savannah

Week Two with Savannah is here and her eyebrows and forehead were so serious while she slept in my lap this past Monday morning while the other two were at school.
She then gave such a serious look when she woke up from her nap. I am loving these quiet days at home with her!
Emma made sure to give her lots of love when she got home from school on Monday!
Here she is napping on me this past Tuesday while it was just us at the house. She took a three hour nap on me and I loved every minute of it!
Wednesday brought a lazy day for everyone while the other two were at school. Cali and Georgia joined her on the couch for naps!
Thursday, she took a nap in her swing while sucking on her two middle fingers. Pretty sure those two fingers in her mouth is about the cutest thing!
Then she made sure to love on daddy when he got home from work last night. Her hair is so dark and all over the place! It is the first thing people comment on with they see her. She has so much hair and it explains why I suffered from heartburn so bad this pregnancy.
Today she turned two weeks old and it is going so fast! She decided to nap again in her swing today and found new fingers!
Then around lunch today, she and I decided to get out of the house and went to my mom's house for a change of scenery.

Chuck E Cheese Date

Landon, Savannah, and I went to Chuck E Cheese today for some game time. Scott and Emma dropped us off at the mall (since I still cannot drive due to c-section) and went to Board and Brush to let Emma create some wood pieces for Christmas.
He had a lot of fun playing games and then he loved to crunch up his tickets at this machine.
Savannah pretty much slept through all the fun!
