Days of Mexican Food & Georgia

We met some friends for lunch at our newest Mexican restaurant on Monday. Emma and Landon love these statues and wanted their picture taken with them.  

Then when we got back home, they decided to make Georgia have puppies. Thankfully Georgia just goes along with their imagination, even if it means she is nursing seven puppies. Ha! :)

Because the food was so good on Monday, we just had to go back for more cheese dip today. It is our last day of summer as I have to go back tomorrow to start pre-planning. 

We got home and Emma and Georgia were enjoying the sunshine and fresh air outside!

Trip to Jacksonville

The kids left Thursday afternoon to go to Moultrie for the night with GranGran and Papi. 

They got up Friday morning and had breakfast outside before heading to visit other family in Jacksonville. 

They went to visit a fort once they got to Jacksonville.

They got up Saturday and went to a local water park.

They got up today and went to the beach for a little bit before it started raining. Then they grabbed lunch at Firehouse before heading back to Georgia. We met them in town when they got back to get Emma and Landon. They all had such a fun weekend. It sure was quiet at our house this weekend, but we were so glad to have them back with us tonight. 

Ice Cream with PawPaw

PawPaw wanted to take the kids to Dairy Queen today for their Miracle Network Blizzard Day. They all enjoyed the Oreo blizzard. 

Landon's FIFTH Birthday Party

Landon chose to have his party at All American Fun Park or better known to Scott and I as Putt-Putt. We grew up going to Putt-Putt often. He got to have his party in the red party house where we had pizza, cake, and opened presents. Then we went to bowl for an hour before riding the indoor bumper cars. 

Landon and Sawyer(friend from church) always have a blast with each other. It tends to get crazy with them two together. 

Breakfast for the Birthday Boy

Emma wanted to surprise Landon with a birthday breakfast when he woke up today. Today is the last day of him being four. She helped get everything ready for his surprise. She makes the best big sister!

First Trip to Six Flags

We were going to go to the beach for the weekend, but the friend's place we were going to stay at became booked. So since it was Scott's birthday, he decided to spend the day at Six Flags. It was the first time for Emma and Landon. We came up to Atlanta last night and ate at Chuy's. Then spent all day today at Six Flags. It was hot and there were more than enough hills to climb between rides, but it was such a fun day. Emma and Landon both rode their first upside-down roller coaster. After our fun day, we made the drive back home. 

Trip to St. Augustine

We made the drive down to St. Augustine yesterday morning. It was part of Iris' birthday trip. We started the day there by eating lunch at a food truck area. It was really good. Scott and I shared bbq and the kids shared pizza. Then we went to their local alligator farm where we saw a ton of alligators and other animals. We went to the hotel to rest and let the kids swim in the pool for a bit. Then it was time for the girls to get ready for their first concert- JoJo Siwa. They sure did look cute!

While we were at the concert, the guys grabbed burgers to eat and then visited a local store for souvenirs. 

Landon ate his entire burger which was pretty big and wanted to show off his muscles. 

We got up this morning and went to eat lunch at downtown St. Augustine. Then we grabbed some really good ice cream and let the kids play on the playground before going our separate ways and heading back home. Here is Emma in my sunglasses before we started our trip back home.
