Braves Game

We spent the afternoon at SunTrust Park watching the Braves play. 

Landon is showing us the moves to the tomahawk chop!

Cotton Candy has Emma all excited!

Landon got a jersey and bat after the game and then him and Emma got to run around the bases. 

After they ran the bases, we got a few pictures on the field before heading back home.

Saturday Dress Up

Landon got real creative this morning. He wanted to wear a beach hat, construction goggles, Thomas the Train pajamas, and firefighter rain boots. Pretty sure it is the cutest outfit ever!

Our Model Student

We celebrated Emma being the August model student this morning with breakfast at school. We are so proud of her for her citizenship at school!

First grade has an "out of this world" theme and Emma stood in front of her model astronaut for a picture after our breakfast. 

Once Scott left our school, he dropped Landon off at daycare and snapped a picture before leaving. It looks like Landon was preparing for a second breakfast. His doughnut at Emma's model student this morning was his first breakfast. :)

More Tractor Fun

Landon had more fun riding his tractor today. We made him his own cup holder with my beach spiker and a zip tie and then he enjoyed eating his cupcake on his tractor. 

Cutest Wax Glasses

While waiting for our food at Mellow Mushroom, Landon enjoyed making glasses out of his wikki stix. He is such a cutie! :)

Emma's First Big Bible

Today was a special day for Emma. The children's department invited all first grade kiddos and their families to a breakfast and to present them with their first big Bible. Here is Emma and Landon with our children's pastor, Mr. Mark.

Here we are as a family. Emma will now sit in worship service with Scott and I every Sunday. Then she will go to her own Sunday School class.

Tractor Fun

Landon had fun riding his tractor around the yard today. He was wearing Emma's hot pink gloves. :)

Our Mall Model

Today, Emma participated in the back to school fashion show that was held at the mall. It was her first time on the big stage and she was a little nervous and very excited. 

First Day of School

Today is the first day of school for Landon and Emma. Landon took the summer off from daycare to stay home with Emma and I. It was such a fun summer!

Today is Emma's first day of FIRST grade!

Last year, Emma was right next door to me so I saw her all the time during her kindergarten year. This year, she is on a different hallway so it was nice to get this picture of her at recess. 

Watermelon & Frozen Yogurt

Landon was loving the watermelon he was eating while at NaeNae's yesterday.

Then today they went to go get some frozen yogurt! Landon's has the gummy worms and Emma's is loaded with cookie dough pieces and nerds.
