Our Little Carpenter

Last Sunday night after church, we went to eat at Outback. Emma was sitting in a booster seat. Yeah, it will be the last booster seat for awhile. :) She still needs the highchair to stay seated!!
She was loving the bread.............as we all do!!
Thursday night, we went to eat dinner at my mom's. She cooked biscuits/gravy, eggs, and bacon. It was all so good, but I LOVE her gravy!!! Then Emma found a box of brownies in her panty and did not want to put it back.
So mom let her help make them. She almost instantly knew to stir them. Then she got to sample one small bite before they were cooked. They turned out so yummy. Thanks Emma! :)
She was not a fan of having the batter on her leg.
We went to Valdosta last night to see Peyton. He recently moved there for college. It was nice to go back to my old college town. We have driven through it a few times when we have gone to Florida, but yesterday we were able to see some of the places I visited when I lived there.
Emma loved sitting in this Georgia chair while we were at his apartment. We would love to take her to a Georgia game this year. If not, though, we will make sure she gets to watch some of the games on TV. :)
We bought Peyton a few things he needed for his apartment. We bought him a coffee table to put in front of his couch. These were the four trying to put it together. That is Emma, his roommate, Scott, and Makayli.
It was so funny watching Emma help with the table. She was watching Scott work and then would try to fix it herself. She was all about making sure the screws were in tight. She had two screwdrivers in her hand. It kept her occupied for awhile!
We might be getting her a tool belt and tools for Christmas. The tool belt would of course be pink! She is still a girly girl. :)

Boots & Bows (And Food Of Course!)

I volunteered at a consignment sale this past week and was able to go early to shop. I got her these cute boots that she walked all over the house in and then got upset when we made her take them off.
She was digging into her pork chop and was loving dipping it into some sauce.
I leave the kitchen for a minute and this is what Scott let her do. :) She thought it would be fun to get macaroni and cheese all over her. I guess it is a good thing we give her baths after she eats!!
She was snacking after daycare one day waiting on daddy to get home from work.
Scott grilled out salmon last night. We ate it with rice and green beans. The salmon had a really good taste to it.
Little Miss Priss use to never like wearing bows. She would take them out as soon as we put one in her hair. Now she wants to wear as many as possible at the same time.
Here she is this morning before church!! She rode to church like this and then we took all of them out but one. :)
But as soon as we got back into the car, she wanted us to put them all back into her hair. She is pointing at her hair and saying "bow." She is too funny!!!

Loving A Bunch Of Stuff

As you all know if you read my blog, Emma loves Cali. Cali use to bother Emma as an infant, but the roles have switched now. I am sure Emma gets on Cali's nerves at times. But Emma loved laying on Cali this night in our bed.
We will come into the house from running errands or after getting Emma from school, and Cali is so excited to see us that she will sometimes try to jump on Emma. Emma has recently started saying, "Stop!" It is too cute.
She finally let me play with her hair long enough to put it in pigtails. It was the cutest thing ever!! I was loving them.
The same night as the pigtails, we had an ice cream social after church. The girl was loving the Reese Pieces. That is all she was interested in eating. It was her first time eating them. She did not want to eat the ice cream or the oreo part.
She was chewing up the candy here. :)
She loves to cuddle with us at night. I know there will come a day that she is not into cuddling with us, so I will enjoy it while it last. After she falls asleep, we move her to her big girl bed and then spend time together with just Scott and I.
I went with one of my best friends to look for a wedding dress for her. Scott and Emma went to a birthday party. They were all impressed that he was there being single daddy for the day. :) He is a great dad and Emma loves him so so much. But so do I!!!

The Bible Is Truth & Chicken Is Good!!

We love Chick-fil-A and ate there tonight, but we went for more than just that. We believe what the Bible says. No, we are not perfect by any means, but we try to live a life pleasing to God. A life that brings him glory! Emma loved her chicken nuggets and ketchup!!
So did Scott. :) The line was backed up to the entrance of the mall. The outside Chick-fil-A has also had a long line all day. Scott got breakfast from there this morning and had to wait awhile to get his food. But it is totally worth it to show support for the truth.
Then we went to a store to check on something for Emma and she got so excited about the pet store that we passed. So we went inside after leaving the other store. She LOVES dogs and that is an understatement!!
She walked up to every window where there was a puppy and got so excited.
She is at that age where she is spotting things she likes. She spotted the gumball/candy dispensers. We have never even gone near them with her before, but she knew it held yummy things. We did not let her have any though. Scott is not a fan of those community dispensers. Then she saw the ice cream truck and had to get in. The coin slot was messed up, but that did not stop her from "driving" that thing and having fun.
We had fun at our quick trip to the mall!!
