Peanut Butter & Movie Lover

Emma LOVES peanut butter. She loves it on sandwiches, as crackers, mixed with chocolate, and to dip crackers in to name just a few ways she likes it. She also loves to watch movies when we go on trips! Whatever makes the trip pleasant for all of us!! :)

Ice Cream Treat

Emma was treated to ice cream today and loved it! I mean who wouldn't?!!? She is sweet just like ice cream. :)

Emma's THREE!!!

Emma turned three on January 6th! We had her birthday party the Saturday before her actual birthday at a local painting spot here in town. The kids all got a tile to paint during the party.

These next several pictures are of her friends painting their tile during the party.

As you can tell, we went with a Little Mermaid theme. She is in love with Ariel and her friends!!

 She had a blast at her party. We are so thankful for everyone who made time to come celebrate with Emma. The picture below are the finished tiles that were made at the party. We love the tiles and have several in our house that we use as coasters. 

Emma is THREE!!

It is crazy how fast time flies by! You really have to cherish every single day! The days may seem long at times, but the years seem so so short! We are loving Emma's personality! She is such a sweet, loving girl who loves stuffed animals and baby dolls! She is going to be a great big sister. She loves for her back to be rubbed, hair to be played with, and for me to sing "You Are My Sunshine" while she is going to sleep at night and at nap time on the weekends! I hope she will still let me do these things several years from now!! :) Crazy how much she has changed from year one to now!

Cali LOVES Emma

Cali who had been the 'only child' for 2 years was not so sure about this 8 pound baby three years ago that was taking up some of her space and stealing her attention, but she loves Emma now! Every time we lay down in Emma's bed, Cali jumps up right behind us to lay at the foot of the bed! Emma loves to give Cali sweet hugs and kisses and Cali will sneak up and kiss Emma's feet!! :) Love my girls!!

She found this hat in her room and wanted to wear it. Then she decided she wanted to be silly with it as we were running errands!

New Year's Eve Get Away

 We spent New Year's Eve night off in the woods with two other families. One of the guys works on this plantation. To get to this cabin, we had to drive probably 2 miles off the main road. The cabin was the only house on this lake. It was so pretty and peaceful!

 We all went fishing soon after getting there before grilling out. The fish were biting like crazy! The kids loved fishing.

It was a nice little get away!!
