Tired Girl & Collecting Boy

Kindergarten is wearing this girl out!! She crashed in the car after leaving school today. Definitely not the safest way to sleep in a car but we made it to our destination safely. 

 We went to Scott's work where Landon enjoyed collecting fishing worms and then he collected some nuts. He is all boy!!!

We are in awe of how well our little girl can draw. Scott is a pretty good drawer- me not so much! Emma loves to draw and she is really good at it if I say so myself!!

Sophia & Chocolate Ice Cream

Nothing screams Saturday afternoon like Sophia dress up and chocolate lovin' ice cream face!! Emma loves to dress up in all of her princess gowns. Thankfully she is to the age where she eats pretty mess free. Her brother on the other hand- not so much! He had a blast eating this yummy ice cream!! Then he enjoyed me taking multiple pics of his messy face!

Smothering with Hugs

We went to the indoor church playground today. While there, we ran into a former co-worker's little girl who was there with her grandma. Landon was determined to get a hug or three out of this sweet girl!! She was not so sure about all of the attention.

Emma wants to learn to blow bubbles with her gum so bad. She is getting closer but is not fully there yet! 

First Day of Kindergarten

Today was Emma's first day of kindergarten. She will be in the classroom right next door to me this year. Scott began talking her on the first day of school when she started pre-k and did the same thing this morning. It will always be a special day for him and the kids. She looks so happy and excited to be starting "big school." Love love love her outfit!!

Back to the Beginning

Scott & I went to Krystal's for our first day 14 years ago today and we still laugh at my choice of restaurant for a first date when I could have picked anywhere in town. We decided to go tonight for an anniversary dinner with kids in tow!! :)
