Car Washes, Drawing, and Books!!

Emma and I went with my mom to the carwash today. Emma loves going because she gets to sit up front either in our lap or on the console while going through the wash. She calls the long brushes an octopus! :) Then we pulled into a spot to vaccum out her car. Emma did not like the loud noise and was being silly so she decided to crawl into the back window area. Her personality is so much fun and full of silliness and I love it!!!

Emma drew this picture after the car wash on the way to get a Blizzard. She started out drawing a flower but ended up with a person. Her drawings of faces are looking really good lately.

 We went to Atlanta recently and stopped by IKEA to pick up these photo shelves that we used as bookshelves. Emma's changing table had shelves that held all of her books, but she no longer needs her changing table and it was taking up way too much space in her room so we moved it out of her room. We moved her level books to these shelves and baskets. I love it because she can easily see the books she wants to grab where with her changing table, they got lost and buried so she never really went to her books. 

 Here she is all excited and showing off the three shelves we put in Landon's nursery. We moved the books from her room that were on younger level to his room. She was so sweet in deciding which books she wanted to give to him. I can't wait to see her as a Big Sister!!!

Baseball Girl

We went to a local ball field yesterday so Scott could take some pictures he wants to put in Landon's nursery. Emma and I started off playing on the playground. 

 Minnie had to slide down with her. :)

 Then she wanted to go onto the field where Scott was taking pictures. She had fun throwing the ball to him and running after the ball after he threw or hit it toward her. 

 Then she helped throw it over the fence once we were all done and ready to go back home. 

First Pool Date of the Summer

Scott went fishing today, so Emma and I went to Kalynn's to go swimming. The water was a lot warmer than I thought it would be. Emma had a blast!! She is such a water baby! I made her 'swim' to me twice and she was not a fan, but the more she does it the more she will become a better swimmer. She loved laying on the big floats. I got in this chair float myself, and I must say that it was pretty awesome! The puddle jumper flotation device thing that Emma is wearing is the best one I have ever found!! It keeps her well above water but enough in the water to have fun! This is wear we will be spending a lot of our time this summer!!

Waffle Lover

Scott went after work to take pictures of his cousins little girl, so I picked Emma up from school and she wanted breakfast for dinner. She has never had Waffle House before so I decided to take her there for dinner. We shared a meal because it came with so much food! She loved eating the bacon of course and ate just about the whole huge waffle that came with the meal. :)

Paint Party With Daddy

So when Mommy is away, Daddy & Emma will play (and make a fun mess)!!! I went to go relax in the tub for awhile and had no idea what these two were getting into in the kitchen. Emma wanted to paint on her big paint pad she got for Christmas. 

I guess that was not enough fun, so she decided she needed to paint on her and Scott!

 So needless to say, my relaxing bath was interrupted with a painted 3 year old climbing in to get clean. Oh well! They had fun and memories were made!! And we might just frame their masterpiece!! :)

Nice Day for a Bike Ride

After church today, we went home to get our bikes ready for a bike ride by the river. We grab a quick lunch and picked up my mom who wanted to join us on our outing. It was such a nice day! Leave it to me to wait until I am 31 weeks to go out and exercise!!:)

Dump Truck & Mickey/Minnie Party

Emma was party hopping today. First, she went to her friend, Brooks' dump truck party. It was at a local playground and they had so much fun playing on all the playground toys. Then we had a few hours to spare so we went to lunch and ran some errands before going to another classmate's party this afternoon. Karoline had a Mickey/Minnie themed birthday party. 

 She had so much fun playing with all the kids at the party. I thought getting all of these kids to sit still for a group picture was a miracle in itself!! :)

Mother's Day Beach Trip

I told Scott I would like to go to the beach for the day for Mother's Day. He made it happen!! We went to St. Andrews State Park in Panama City Beach because we knew they had restrooms and an area of the beach where there are not any waves because it is separated some by big rocks. Emma had a BLAST!!! She played in the sand, collected seashells, swam in the ocean, and ate puffy Cheetos (which is a must while at the beach)!! :)

Then we showered off, changed, and went to eat at a place we have come to love that is located right across the street from Pier Park. Hook'd is located right beside the Pier. She was being silly trying on all of our sunglasses while we waited for our food!

It was such a nice day and we all had so much fun and made memories!!
