Emma & Kamryn

Emma & Kamryn had a little playdate after school today. Kamryn is one of my sweetie's from last year. We went to Newk's for pizza, Bruster's for ice cream, and then to drop off Emma at dance and Kamryn at drama practice. They had fun and it was a nice treat to have some girl time!

Sweet Hands

I laid down with Landon one night and he fell asleep holding his sweet little hands. 

Play Date With the Tomlinson's

Our kids have been friends since birth. We got together today so the guys could watch the game and the kids could play together- they always play so well together. They decided to play a girls vs boys game of Guess Who. The boys won the game!! Our kids do not have this game so I think it will be one of their Christmas gifts

Tanner's Birthday Party

Tanner who was in my class last year had his birthday party today. His mom and I work together so our kids love to play together after school. He had his party at the local aquarium. Landon enjoyed petting the baby alligator. 

 Emma and Landon enjoyed seeing all of the animals at the aquarium. Then they got to take a picture with Madison, Tanner's older sister. 

Emma & Her Teacher

Our school wore yellow, teal, and/or purple earlier this month for love yourself day. Emma had the perfect outfit with those colors. 

Today, Emma tested her egg packing skills with an egg drop. She did a great job because her egg did not break. My class got to go watch her class and teacher drop their packages. A few broke but most eggs were safe and did not break. 

Sweet Sleepy Sloth

We had two ladies and several wildlife animals visit our school today. The cutest animal they brought with them was this sloth. I think the teachers enjoyed getting pictures with her more than the kiddos. :)

My Birthday Get Together

Tonight, we went to my mom's for my birthday. She cooked us dinner and then we had caramel cake for dessert. It is one of my favorites!!!!

 Then I opened my gifts. My gifts from Scott, Landon, and Emma came in a Christmas bag. Haha!

Peace, Love, Football

Today was Homecoming at school. Emma and I sported our tie dyed shirts for this years homecoming theme. Landon wore his football jersey. 

This afternoon, we had a pep rally at our school with the high school band, cheerleaders, and dance line. Emma was helping hold the poster for her class. 

Pictures from Pre-K

Here is Landon in his second day of pre-k. His teacher sends pictures throughout the day and I love it!! The scratch on his nose is a mystery. We nor Landon know how it happened.

 Emma is such a great artist and it looks like Landon will be one too. He enjoys getting to paint pictures in the paint center at school. 

Freddy's & the Braves Game

We try to go to a Braves game at least once every season. We made that happen today. On the way up to Atlanta, we stopped for lunch at Freddy's. Scott had eaten there before, but it was a first for the kiddos and I. It did not disappoint. The burger was great and the fries and sauce were even better! We topped it all off with dessert for everyone before finishing the ride to Atlanta. 

We met my brother and his family as well as NaeNae and Chris at the game. Emma and Landon sat and watched the entire game! It was the first time a sporting event has kept their attention. It was wonderful for Scott and I to be able to actually watch the game. Landon was cheering them on and got excited when a home run was hit! The Braves won and we were all excited to celebrate with them. Here is Landon's game face he used to scare the Pirates.

 My dad took this picture of Landon at his house. My dad still has a flip phone and loves to take pictures with it. The quality is nothing like my iPhone but the picture still holds the same amount of sweetness in it. :)
