The kid's bathroom is finished. When we moved in, their bathroom had a big sheet mirror on the wall and then just a plain countertop. We got granite put in a couple years ago. Then recently Scott took down their mirror and added the wall of shiplap . We added new lighting and Scott build the two frames for their own little mirror. Scott also built Landon his own stool so that he could reach his sink. We are loving how it all turned out.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." -Jeremiah 29:11- We don't know the plans God has for Emma & Landon's life, but we are excited to be on the journey with them!!

Chips That Make You Smile
Landon and I went to the vending machine after dropping off the students at the buses today to get him a snack. He wanted these plain chips and then had fun with the smiling bag.
All the fun made him want to take a nap after we left school today.

Dance Line & Football
Last night, Emma got to be on the football field for the varsity game. She went to practice for it last Saturday. She got to practice with the flags, dance to music, and then got hold some pop pops for the first quarter. She had a lot of fun!
Here she is with Lauren Elizabeth, one of the dance line girls. I work with LE's mom and she was Emma's second grade teacher last year.
Today, we went to watch Landon play flag football. He is having fun and is able to run super fast to try to snatch some flags from the opposing team.
It has been a great weekend spent doing things the kiddos love doing!

Farm Day at School
This morning, our kindergarten group participated in farm day to close out our farm unit. We were greeted with a cow as we walked into the school.
The students were able to make horse food for the student's to eat, pretend to milk a cow with gloves filled with water, learn all about farming, see a big tractor and some farm animals up close. The students had fun and learned a lot from our farm day.

Baby Shower
Today was extra special, because it was my birthday as well as my baby shower. Two of my long time friends wanted to throw me a baby shower, so we decided a diapers and wipes shower would be the perfect shower for baby #3. I loved the simplicity of the shower.
Here is a spread of the yummy food that was at the shower.
Here was a sign by the diapers that the guests were to write little notes on for those middle of the night diaper changes.
Here I am with the two hostesses.
My mom and I before all the guests arrived.
Emma loved helping me open all of the gifts. She has grown up so much and I know she will be the best big sister to this baby just as she is to Landon.
Here I am with Brittany, who is my other longtime friend. Her due date is five days after mine. We celebrated her and her baby yesterday at her baby shower.
The four "big mamas" who have been friends for over 20 years.
This was after all of the guests had left and we were about to leave with a car full of diapers, wipes, and love from close friends and family.
And while we were at the shower, the guys were racing go carts and having so much fun!
We met back at the house and unloaded the car from the shower and here is all of our diapers and wipes that we were gifted. We won't have to buy diapers or wipes for a long time and that is such a blessing!
Snuggle Bug
He got to sleep with us the other night and was such a snuggle bug. He was hugging his animal tight.
Then today he was snuggled up next to Georgia.

Mexican Food & Caramel Cake
We celebrated my birthday tonight with two of my all time favorites. We ate dinner at San Joe's and filled up on Mexican food and then had caramel cake for dessert. My mom, dad, Brandon, Krista, and Heidi met us for dinner. The Heath's were in town so they met us for dinner too! The staff came to sing happy birthday to me and place a sombrero on my head.
Then Landon & Heidi wanted to try the hat on too. It was quite heavy on their heads.
Then we enjoyed the yummy caramel cake my mom picked up.
We didn't get a picture last night, but we got one today at church before Kendra and family headed back to Texas.
