Landon being silly in Old Navy while we were out back to school shopping for the kids. :)
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." -Jeremiah 29:11- We don't know the plans God has for Emma & Landon's life, but we are excited to be on the journey with them!!

Visit With the Police Officer
My brother, their Bubba, met us after church for a bite to eat. He was on duty, but took a little break to visit. The kids wanted to take a picture with him in his uniform.

Landon's Motorcycle
We had a birthday party to attend at the Skating Rink today. Landon does not skate when we go, but it is a given that he is going to want to ride this motorcycle while we are there.
Fireworks Show
We got to enjoy an awesome fireworks show done by a family who owns a locally family owned fireworks store. It was a great show without the crowd. We got to enjoy the fireworks in Scott's new jeep.
Before leaving, Emma ran into a school friend whose mom and I are also really good friends. I work with his mom and had Tanner in my class this past year.

Family Fun Day at Camp
On Friday of Camp WinShape, campers families can come and spend the whole day with them and experience camp with them. We started the day off with worship, then went to class with Emma, and then went outside for some fun games with everyone.
They were welcomed by a helicopter while outside playing games.
Then we went inside for a lunch provided by Chick-fil-A. Here is Emma and her two teachers!
They wanted their picture taken in front of the stage where worship took place each day.
Then we went back outside to see the helicopter up close.

Date with Landon
While sister is at camp all day, Landon and I went out for a little date before picking her up. We went to Putt-Putt to do a quick game of bowling. This red dino helps his bowling ball stay on the lane. :)
Then he wanted to ride a few of the little rides they have around the property.
We ended our date with some nachos and juice.
It does not take much to make this sweet by happy! We both had a blast on our little outing!

A Great Week to Always Remember
Emma was old enough to experience Camp Winshape this year. Monday was her first day. She was so excited and a little nervous to go to her first official camp!
She talked Scott into getting her a t-shirt and hand band on Tuesday morning when he dropped her off and then quickly changed into it before heading in to camp for the day.
Here she is today when Scott picked her up. She had awesome news to share with us from camp today. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior today! What an awesome day for her and us! It is our nation's birthday and now it is Emma's spiritual birthday!!!
We celebrated by shooting off fireworks today!!!
The next two days of camp will be awesome for Emma!
