Best Birthday Ever!

The other part of the surprise was a trip to Magic Kingdom yesterday!

We rode lots of rides, ate plenty of food, met some of the characters, smiled and laughed often, made many memories, and had such a great time!

We always try to open and close down the park and the fireworks show is one of our favorite things to do and watch!

Emma's 8th Birthday

We woke up to an 8 year old! S/he was so excited to see she her presents. We got her a sequin unicorn book bag and a mermaid tail.

Then we were off to grab breakfast at Denny's before our appointment at the American Girl store. 

After breakfast, we made our way to her requested birthday wish! She already had the Wellie Wishers from previous Christmas and birthdat gifts. She got Nanea from Santa this year and then NaeNae gave her Tenney for her birthday gift this year before we came on our trip. She wanted to bring them all into the store. 

Landon was being silly while waiting in line to have the dolls spoiled at the spa.

We got their hair fixed, nails/toes painted, and ears pierced. 

Then we were off to the bistro for our lunch. Emma ordered a yummy milkshake. 

Landon and I went outside to play while we waited on our food. He was having a lot of fun playing on the neat playground they had outside the mall. 

Then we went back inside and Emma ate a quesadilla.

Landon ate cheese pizza. 

Then Emma got to decorate her cupcakes with icing and sprinkles. 

After leaving American Girl, we went around the mall and to Target before heading to City Walk. We did not stay long, but did grab dinner before heading back to the hotel for the night. 

I would say her birthday was spent doing things she LOVES!

Surprise Trip for Emma's Birthday

Emma has been begging to go to American Girl for her birthday. She was getting a birthday trip instead of a birthday party this year. We decided to surprise them with a trip to Orlando instead of Atlanta. 

They just realized we were not going to north to Atlanta, but instead south to Orlando. 

We gave them these suitcases for Christmas and they were so excited to get to use them for the first time. 

We made it to Orlando and went straight to Disney Springs for a little bit of fun. 

Emma was excited to use some of her money on bath salts. She created a tube of her favorite colors of bath salts. 

We seem to always take a picture with this Mickey and Minnie every time we are at Disney Springs. 

Then we went and grabbed some yummy cupcakes. 

Then we went to the American Girl hotel where we were staying for the night.

We were met with this bed, blanket, pillow, and little robe waiting for Emma and her dolls.

Spider Man made an appearance and then it was off to bed for everyone!

It has been a great start to our surprise trip! 

Birthday Celebration at School

Emma's birthday is on Sunday and she won't be at school Monday and Tuesday of next week, so we celebrated her birthday today at school. She requested chocolate glazed sprinkled doughnuts and that is just what she got! A couple more days of her being seven and then we will have an eight year old in our house!

Best Buds

These boys have known each other since they were just a few days old. Us mamas have been friends since we were teens. They get so excited when they get to hang out. Today we met up at Chehaw Park to let them play. Before we got the sweet picture, they had to show us their best super hero/muscle pose!
