Watching the Georgia Gymdogs

We spent the day in Athens watching their gymnastics team. 

The kids had lots of fun watching them compete in the different areas.

Landon's First Baseball Game of the Season

 Landon had his first game this past Saturday. He played in the futures league last year, so he has the foundation of baseball down. I can't wait to see him improve over this season. We had to get some pictures before his first game. 

Emma has to be his biggest fan! She loves watching him play and loves being the bat girl during his games.

Georgia Visits the Vet

Georgia is about to go off to obedience school so she went today to get updated on all of her shots. Emma loves to tag along to the vet. She is wanting to possibly become a vet when she gets older. 

Boosterthon Fun Run

Today is the day of the Fun Run fundraiser. Emma's class was to dress in Georgia Bulldog attire or red/black. On our way to take Landon to his bus, they wanted to get their picture taken. Landon is already looking forward to doing this next year when he is in kindergarten. 

 Emma's goal was to run 30-35 laps before the time was up. Not only did she reach her goal, but she was the FIRST second grade girl to finish the race! We kept trying to have her walk some, but she was determined to run the entire thing. We were so proud of her. She kept telling herself she could do it. She believed in herself and accomplished her goal! 

Emma's Field Trip to Plains

Today, I got to go with Emma on her class field trip to Plains(where Jimmy Carter lives). She got to play games they would have played years ago.

 She made a butterfly with markers and coffee filter sprayed with water. 

 She got to go to "school" and sit in desks the boys and girls use to sit in at school. 

 She got to main her own grain by crushing corn.

 Then the classes competed in games the kids use to play. 

 It was a fun day spent with my favorite girl!

Fun at Pre-K

Landon is having a lot of fun in pre-k this year. They were looking for dinosaur fossils in their dirt today. They love using their imagination while at recess. 

This picture was taken on his way to my school this afternoon. He loves riding the school bus every morning and afternoon. After this year, he won't be riding the bus for three years because he will be at my school. 

February Model Student

Landon's teacher sent me this today and I could not be anymore proud of him. He has worked hard this year and it has paid off.
