Swim Lessons & Doughnuts

Landon wrapped up swim lessons today. He was so excited to go to swim lessons on Monday, but when we got there he realized swim lessons was not swimming and having fun with the family in the pool. He screamed and screamed. He was definitely the loudest of the five kiddos on Monday. On Tuesday he was a little better and he got better each of the five days. He learned how to swim in five days! We were so proud of his progress!!! Emma learned to swim from Mrs. Emily as well a couple years ago so we knew we wanted Landon to take from her as well. He loved his paw patrol goggles to help him see under the water. 

 We left swim lessons and met up with some friends for lunch at Zaxby's and then off to get our free doughnut from Krispy Kreme before heading to the splash pad and playground. 

New Haircut for Emma

Emma got her haircut yesterday and it was the biggest haircut she has ever gotten. Her hair was almost down to her waist and she wanted to cut it about to her shoulders and that is just what we did. She looks so cute with her new haircut! It definitely has to be cooler in these hot summer months. Here she is in our garage right after getting home from getting it cut. 

Here she is today while waiting on Landon to finish swim lessons. I straightened it this morning after washing it last night. She was being silly and not really wanting to take pictures. :)

Making Lowe's Fun

When you're a girly girl and having to make the dreaded Lowe's trip, you do all you can to make it fun! I love her in this pineapple shirt and she is sporting a purse my mom brought back from Mexico I believe. She was in a silly mood today at Lowe's and it helped pass the time until we could escape. :)

My Little Dazed Boat Cutie

This little cutie went on a boat ride today and loved it! He was dazed at the view and just took it all in! He loves the water!!!

Landon's Last Day of Darcare

Today was Landon's last day of daycare. He has been going to Best Buddies since he was 8 weeks old or so. He has loved it! He has had amazing and loving teachers that he will miss so much! We started the morning off with a trip to McDonald's to celebrate his last day!

 Then we had to get some last day pictures in front of his daycare sign.

 He will enjoy the summer at home with Emma & I before starting "big boy" school (pre-k) in August. 

Wrapping up FIRST Grade

A couple weeks ago Emma participated in our school's PE Extravaganza. It is similar to field day but more fun than competitive. I love the way our school does it because all of the kids have a blast. Here she is with Madison.

Today she got her certificate for completing first grade. She has had so much fun and has loved her teacher, Mrs. Moon. Next year she will have Mrs. Moon's sister, Mrs. Paul. She is so excited about having her sister for second grade. 

 A sweet family gave me a gift certificate to Newk's for the end of the year. We didn't waste anytime using it and used it tonight to celebrate Emma and the end of the year. Kiddos give their pizza a thumbs up!

 Landon wanted to put pickles and croutons on his pizza.......

 .......and then he ate it. :)

Kickoff to Summer Fun

The kids get out of school next week, so Scott decided to pull out the water slide for them this weekend to kick off their summer break. I would say the kiddos had a blast with it today.
