Our Country Boy

I put Landon into these overalls today since the weather was nice outside and for the fact that I wanted him to at least wear them once before he outgrew them!!

Landon's First Foods

I was just looking through my phone and came across these pictures from the end of November. It was when we first started Landon on baby food. This first night, we had him try carrots. I then decided I wanted to make all of his food for health & price benefits. I ordered a baby bullet and have since made homemade pureed bananas, apples, squash, sweet potatoes, pears, avocados, and peas. He actually will not eat bananas from the jar anymore! I think I have spoiled him!! :) 

The True Meaning

I made this shirt for a friend's little boy and loved it so much! It shows the true meaning of Christmas and what a holy night it was!!! Yes, we do Santa and elf of the shelf, but we also talk about the real meaning of Christmas and read the Christmas story every year!!

Sparkle Dots

We had our elf on the shelf last year, but she stayed put on our mantle because we felt like Emma wasn't old enough to understand it all. This year we read the story to her and she decided to name her Sparkle Dots!! She likes Twilight Sparkle in My Little Pony and then her skirt has polka dots so we just combined the two. :) She sat around some, but Scott did make her do some silly stuff during her stay at our house. One night Emma did not put up her toys, so Sparkle Dots helped her. Emma was sad to see her go, but we promised she would return next year!

 Then she decided to eat some of Emma's cereal one morning. 

 I ordered some signs from Jane to use with Sparkle Dots. They were cute & sweet!

Our Little Turtle

Emma has recently found a love for the purple turtle. Purple because it is the "girly" color!! So Scott gave her the purple mask and weapon for Christmas so they could play together. :) His favorite one is the orange one! Emma is already saying that Landon will like the blur one. Haha!! Obviously I do not know their names!! I think she is so cute and love that she loves things other than princesses!!!

Santa Came to Visit

Santa came to visit us and he left Landon a walker, duck bouncer, and some small toys he will soon be able to play with once he can sit up on his own.

 Santa left Emma a Frozen bike with accessories, slippers, and some walkie talkies. 

 Santa enjoyed his cookies and milk- here is what was left!

 Sparkle Dots left Emma a note saying she would see her next year!!

Christmas Lights & PJs

So this morning we celebrated Christmas with my mom and then went to my dad's after lunch. We came home and gave baths and fed Landon before heading off to see Christmas lights in our pajamas. 

I love Emma's smile in this next one!!

 And before we even made it to the second stop to see lights, she was passed out asleep!! She had a busy day!

Justin Timberlake Concert

We left Saturday to go see Justin Timberlake in concert. Mom and Scott got me tickets for my 30th birthday. We went and ate at Chuy's first. They have the best food! Then we did a little shopping before checking into the hotel room. The mall was packed with it being the Saturday before Christmas. 

 I fed Landon and got him situated before leaving mom, Emma, and him at the hotel. We got to the concert and they played music for the first 45 minutes since he did not have anyone opening for him. He put on a 2 1/2 hour concert that was amazing! I have always loved him and have wanted to see him in concert for awhile now. I can cross it off of my bucket list. His lights were unreal! His whole stage moved to the back of the arena where he then sand 4 or so songs in the back area. I am so glad I can say I have seen him in concert. And for the record- Scott knew more of the words to his songs than I did!! ;)

We got up yesterday and did a little more shopping at a different mall that was not as crowded before heading back home!

Five Months Old

Sorry, but it is about to be picture overload!! Our sweet boy turned five months old today! Where has the time gone?? We got back from Atlanta today and decided just to take some quick pictures of him inside by our tree since it was dark outside! Within this month, Landon has celebrated his first Thanksgiving, gone to Disney & Atlanta (traveled so well both on both trips), started eating homemade bananas, and continued to be such an awesome baby!! We all love him so much!!

My Little Chewer

Landon has reached the stage where he loves to chew on things. Most things find his mouth these days!! I am sure it will not be long before a tooth pops through!!

Christmas Play

Emma & Landon were in their first Christmas play tonight. Landon was walked around by one of his teachers to "Walking in a Winter Wonderland" and Emma dressed up as a tree and danced to "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree." They were all so cute! They had Santa come and took pictures of all the families present. They also had a huge silent auction and snacks to munch on after the program. It was all so cute!!

Emma drew this all by herself. She may very well be a good little artist one day. She already colors within the lines at 3 years old! She obviously got Scott's artistic abilities because I have none!!
