Practicing Hard

Landon was practicing so hard today to sit up more without support from me. I put the boppy pillow there for a little support and to help catch him if he toppled over. I think he can do it, he just chooses not to and would rather lay down. He can roll over too but very rarely does it. He is just so laid back!!

 His little smile is the sweetest!!

Palm Sunday & Zoo

My mom had some friends and their girls staying with her this weekend, so Emma stayed too. This morning she went to church with my mom. Emma wanted to make sure her baby was safe on the way to church and asked my mom to buckle her up too. :)

 With it being Palm Sunday, Emma and the other kids got to parade around the church with palm branches. Then they got to go outside to visit the donkey. Emma came home talking about Jesus riding on a donkey. She knows all about the real meaning of Easter and that Jesus died on the cross. I can't wait for her to understand what it really means that He died for our sins long before we were even born!! He loves us that much!

 After lunch we wanted to get out of the house and decided to take Emma and Landon to the zoo. We saw a few animals before heading to the playground for a little while. Emma wanted to take her donkey craft she made in church to the zoo too. I thought it was so sweet and cute! 

Cinderella

After family pictures today, Aunt Ashleigh took Emma to go see Cinderella. Emma of course wanted to dress the part! Everyone there thought she was so cute. She loved seeing the Frozen mini movie before seeing Cinderella.

 She just had to bring toys!! I do not think she ever leaves home without a toy or two!

Eight Months Old

Landon turned eight months old today! We had family pictures this morning at Radium Springs. It is so pretty there! Landon is trying so hard to sit up all by himself! He did pretty good on this white bench after our family pictures were taken. 

 Big sister holding his sweet hand. She adores him so much and he loves to look and smile at her. I hope and pray they are always close friends!!

  These months sure are flying by. I wish time could slow down some! 

Happy St. Patty's Day

Today is St. Patrick's Day and we are all wearing green!! Emma thought it would be silly to put Prince Eric with four princesses this morning! We are not really sure what made her do that. :)

 Landon is just practicing some of his ninja turtle moves!!

 She said he was about to fall over, so being the sweet big sister that she is, she held his head to prevent him from falling over!!

 Off to school with a movie, toy, and new shoes!!

Ready For Church

Life With a Big Sister

I ran to get us some Mexican food to bring back home for dinner and while I was gone, Scott sent me these pictures. Landon was eating his dinner when I left-- and trying to eat it in peace I'm sure!!

 Until big sister who is into ALL things princess thought it would be fun and cool to put her crown on her baby brother! HaHa!! :) He is still a cutie even in the crown!

It was just Landon & Daddy at home this evening and they got in some bonding and tummy time. 

Landon & Emma Time

Emma was having along time with NaeNae and Landon having alone time with Scott & I. We were loving the outside today. I laid a big beach blanket out on the ground and put a little umbrella propped up on the ground to keep the sun out of our eyes. 

 Emma went to church with NaeNae and then out to eat with her and Jill. Then they met Bubba and Krista and went to walk Holley and feed the ducks. Then she went to her house to play for a few hours before going to play with some inner city kids with my mom's church. Emma had a lot of fun!

Afternoon Stroll

Today was so beautiful when I got home with Emma & Landon, that I decided to go on a walk around the neighborhood a couple of times. Emma loved riding her bike. When she wasn't riding her bike, she was wanting to push Landon's stroller. I am so excited to feel warmer weather outside!!

Big Helper

Emma was being a big helper on the way to school this morning by helping her daddy carry out his water bottle. And we can't leave the house these days without a toy or five!!!! :)

My First Dance Outfit

Yesterday while I was at my mom's house, I found my very first dance recital outfit. I knew instantly I wanted Emma to try it on. It fit her perfectly. I was probably her age when I first wore it. It is probably around 27 years old!
