Mommy & Emma Weekend

Scott went fishing this past weekend with some guys, so Emma and I had a mommy/daughter weekend. We went to Putt-Putt to bowl and ride the carousel on Friday with NayNay, Brandon, and Krista.
Then on Saturday, Emma and I went with mom and Brandon to pick strawberries. Here are the pictures and videos to show all the fun we had at the strawberry patch!!

On Sunday, I picked up Subway for us and we went and had a picnic at Chehaw Park. Then we went and saw the animals. She kept telling me the alligators had gone night night. :)

Catching Up :)

I really need to do better!! I really want to blog more than once a week, but life gets busy and blogging gets pushed to the side. Here is sweet girl on the way to school one morning last week.
She had been running low grade fever on and off last week. She woke up Wednesday with pink eye so Scott stayed home with her. They ran a few errands and went to see the puppies at the mall.
Then on Friday night, she woke up screaming. I thought it was a night terror or that we woke her up by mistake. Then on Saturday I noticed her ear had drainage, so we decided to take her to the walk in doctor Sunday morning. I am very thankful our doctor has that every Saturday and Sunday, so we do not have to face the hospital's walk in clinic. She woke up screaming Saturday night too, but we gave her Motrin and she went right back to sleep. Here she is playing in the waiting room. :)
She had an ear infection without showing any signs and it got so bad that it started to drain. He gave us drops and an antibiotic and they have worked wonders!! We go back next week to follow up.
She was loving on my mom Sunday afternoon. They all came to our house for lunch since Emma was not feeling good.
Emma and I cuddled up Sunday evening and watched part of Nemo!
Scott stayed home with her Monday and she enjoyed her Mickey Mouse marathon and eating peanut butter and crackers. :) I am a top 8 finalist for teacher of the year for my county and I have had pop-ins this week, so I was trying not to miss and I am also trying to save up for my next maternity leave in the future. (I am not pregnant right now.) :)
Happy girl was eating leftover refried beans for lunch on Monday. Then on yesterday morning she was so upset she had to go to school. She really enjoyed her daddy/daughter day and having a lazy day around the house. She is doing so much better now!!

Her Favorite Book

Emma loves the book, Goodnight Moon. We read it every night. She use to love pointing out the moon, cow, and making cow noises. But now she loves to point out the mouse on each page and fuss at the kittens who are playing in the yarn. :)

Date Day to Macon

Scott and I went to Macon yesterday to do some shopping. Emma stayed with mom and had fun!! Our first stop was to McAlister's and it was yummy!! Scott got a melt and I got a half turkey/cole slaw sandwich and broccoli/cheddar soup.

Emma got to eat one of her favorites with NayNay- cheese dip from the Mexican restaurant.
Then we went to Dick's Sporting Goods, Macon's outdoor mall, and then Bass Pro Shop before eating dinner and heading home. We ate Barberitos for dinner. We have a Moe's back home, but Scott loves Barberitos. It was nice to shop/eat without Emma, but we sure did miss our sweet girl!
Today, we went to my aunt's for lunch. She fixed potato soup and taco soup. They were both delicious. After we ate, Emma spent the next hour and half or so outside.
She loved chasing the chickens and roosters.
Then she loved looking at the pond and watching Scott shoot some guns.
My shopping buddy can turn country every now and then!! :)

Emma & Daddy Time

This post has pictures/events that Scott loves or loves to do! Emma found his Boston Redsox baseball helmet on our guest bed and she just had to wear it.
We took her to a Braves game this past summer and are excited to take her to more this year!!
Scott loves to camp/fish so we decided to put his tent up in the living room for a few hours. Emma loved it! We would love to take her camping this Spring, even if it is to our local zoo that is five minutes from home. :)
She was laid back watching Mickey Mouse on the I-pad.
We even ate dinner in the tent that night.
Here she is dressed for school on Tuesday.
I was volunteering at a children's consignment sale Tuesday night, so Scott got her from school and they went to Target to look around. She had to take DuckDuck in of course.
Her Valentine's gift was delivered to our house on Friday. We set it up before getting her from school. She got a tent for her first Christmas, but it was getting too small for her and we could not get in and play with her very comfortably.
She loves it! And now we can all get in it and play with her.
This picture was taken yesterday before we took her to my mom's for the day. She wanted to wear her new OldNavy hat and was showing off her bracelet. I am glad Scott has a girly girl who likes to do things he likes too. :)

Teaching Emma to Bowl

We went bowling last night with NayNay, Bubba, and Aunt Krista. These pictures are not too great. I took them with my phone like always, but with the crazy lights, they did not all turn out too good. Emma loved everything about it there, beginning with eating the pizza!
Then she was ready to bowl. :)
She wanted to bowl with Scott first!
She would roll the ball, get up to walk back to our seats, and then look to see where the ball was going. I do the same thing when I bowl.
Then she was ready to bowl with me.
Then she put on Scott's hat for some silly pictures. :)

Babies & Toddlers

I got to visit with this sweet girl on last Thursday. This was the baby Scott and I threw a gender reveal for her parents last February.
She is such a happy baby!
My good friend Kalynn, which is Iris' aunt.
Then last Thursday night we went out to eat with my dad. Emma loved eating Scott's rice and watching Mickey Mouse.
Saturday night we were invited over to a friend's house to grill out. Bethany and I were due on the same day, but Emma was born two days before Kenley. We both ended up having to be induced! Right before we left their house, our girls were hugging and kissing each other. It was so cute!!
