Easter Picnic

Emma & I went to my mom's church for their Easter picnic. The food was so good & a lot of people were creative in their Easter themed food! We met up with our good friends, Iris, and had fun playing with her.

Opening Home Game

Last night was the home opener for the Atlanta Braves. Mom kept Emma so Scott and I could go to the game. Mom got Scott 4 tickets for Christmas so we invited his dad and Susan to go with us. Mom took Emma to dance last night and then they ate their favorite- Mexican food!!

 The Braves did not win, but it was still fun to go and watch them play. 

We got up today and did a little shopping before heading back home!

Georgia Aquarium (& the rest of our trip)

After we left Rock Ranch & ate at Chick-fil-A's dwarf house, we made our way to Atlanta. We did some shopping & ate dinner before heading to our hotel room. Scott & Emma went swimming. It was all fun until Scott cut his foot on the drain at the bottom of the pool. Needless to say, Emma did not want to enter that pool anymore during our trip.

The next morning, we got up and headed to the Georgia Aquarium. She is going to be a map reading girl just like her daddy!!!

We met up with Emma's good friend Jaxon and his family. They enjoyed seeing all of the animals at the aquarium.

They have this huge conveyor belt so you can just stand and look up and all around at the animals swimming over you. Well Emma took that time to 'surf' the entire time we were on the moving belt. She never looked up to see the animals. Haha!!

 We went and did various things around Atlanta after we left the aquarium. The next morning we got ready and checked out of our hotel. We went to Atlantic Station to eat & shop before heading home. Emma was being silly at H&M!!

She wanted to wear my purse just like me as we were leaving! :)

 And it didn't take long before she crashed in the car on the way home!!

It was such a nice getaway!!

Chick-fil-A's Dwarf House

We go out of town and Emma still wants Chick-fil-A! We spent a couple hours at Rock Ranch which is founded by Chick-fil-A, so we told her they probably had their food to eat there. They do serve their food on certain days, but not the particular day we were there. After we left Rock Ranch, we found the Dwarf House and decided to go there after Emma said she wanted their chicken salad. 

She loved going through their little red door!

They serve more food than the normal Chick-fil-A chains at the Dwarf House. Emma got their chicken salad because she loves it so much. Scott just got their chicken sandwich and I got a cheeseburger. It was all good. After our tunnies were full, we were ready to head the rest of the way to Atlanta!

Rock Ranch

We just got back from our Spring Break trip to Atlanta last night. We spent the first part of our trip to Atlanta at Rock Ranch. It is owned by Chick-fil-A owners and it right outside of Thomaston.

Emma rode ponies.

Emma ran all through Tiny Town. It was a town built with a ton of different shops & places to visit on kid level. It was really neat. 

Scott and Emma slid down their 'homemade' slide a bunch of times!

Then we all rested and rode the big train!

We all went on a paddle boat ride.

Then she visit the cow mascot before seeing the petting zoo. 

Then we left and headed further up to Atlanta. We all had so much fun!!

Too Fast!!!!

Time flies by too fast! I took this picture to show the sweet family that bought Emma this dress a year ago that she was still wearing it- just as a tunic/top now. :) But then I notice the sweet three month old on the canvas in the background and realize just how quickly three years can go by. I am cherishing this age. Emma can have a whole conversation with us, understands what we are asking/telling her, and help with things around the house, is POTTY TRAINED, and so much more! But I also miss the sweet baby stage! I hope that no matter what age/stage Emma is in that I soak up every happy/sad, good/bad moment because this picture is proof just how fast time slips by us!!!

Sweet Memories in the Making

Random post of pictures of us making memories with Emma. Oh how I wish time would slow down!! Emma was given this apron by the Williams and wore it while helping Scott make grilled cheese sandwiches.

 One afternoon after picking Emma up from school, I told her we would have salsa and chips when we got home. Well the salsa was bad so I quickly came up with chips and melted cheese. I forgot how good these were. I use to eat this combo as a snack growing up. 

 Seriously!!! Could she get any sweeter and cuter! She was holding her baby doll. I can't wait to see her in Big Sister mode. She is constantly talking about Landon and loves to give my tummy kisses for him!

 I picked her up from school and now that the weather is nice they go outside to play. Her teachers use the spray on sunscreen and some had gotten in her hair. Her hair felt gross so I told Scott I wanted to wash her hair like my Nina use to do to me. Emma loved it! I was worried she would freak out with how we were wanting to wash it, but she didn't. It was quick and she had clean hair afterwards!! :)

I am loving making all of these sweet memories with her!!!
