We Are Having A BOY!!!!

But we had our gender reveal shower this past Saturday.  We went to our big ultrasound on Thursday and the Sonographer put the gender on a slip of paper in this envelope. 

Then we dropped it off with Brittany who was throwing the gender reveal shower. We found out by shooting silly string at each other that we are adding a sweet baby boy to our family! Landon will join our family sometime in July and we could not be more excited. After the shower, we went straight to the mall to get a few boy clothes. :) Emma was being silly trying on different hats.

Here are some of the clothes we got that night. I love Old Navy clothes. They fit Emma so well and I am hoping the same for Landon.

 Our gender reveal was also a diapers and wipes shower. We are good to go on both for awhile!! We are so blessed and thankful with all of the diapers and wipes from our friends and family.

 I thought I was going to have to put Scott on a clothing budget with him getting a son, but I think I might need to go on one. Ha! I went a little crazy the other day on Zulily, but they were too cute and at a great deal not to pass up!!

 I can't wait to dress him in these cute outfits in just a couple of months!!!!

Gender Reveal

One of my best friends threw us our gender reveal shower last night. We did not do anything like this with Emma. It really wasn't popular when we were pregnant with Emma. Brittany hosted it with help from her mom, Joyce Ann, and Kalynn. They combined it with a diaper and wipes shower. We got so many diapers and wipes!! So thankful! So the theme was bow or bowtie???

I thought the table decorations were simple but oh so cute!!

We had different soups and here are the desserts that were served.

Then we were given a can of silly string to spray at each other. Emma chose to sit in my lap to help me spray her daddy!!! That's my girl! And we were so excited to find out we were adding a sweet BOY to our family!

Emma and I were so excited, we were not really looking where the silly string was going and some got in Scott's eye and mouth- OOPS!!!

Emma was so excited by it all. She was kicking her legs and laughing the whole time I was running to Scott.

 To say Scott was excited to know he was getting a son would be an understatement!

 My sweet sweet friends who have been together forever it seems! Kalynn is 36 weeks pregnant, me at 19 weeks pregnant, Erica who is 9 weeks pregnant, and then Brittany the main host!

It was such a fun night!!

My New Hobby

My mom gave me an embroidery machine for Christmas! I have loved making things on it. Here are a few of the shirts and items I have made with my new machine. 

Her LOVE for PJs and Mickey!

Emma has a strong love for pajamas!!! As soon as we get home from anywhere, she wants to put on her comfy pjs. She gets it honest though! :) As soon I as get home, I want to get out of my clothes and into lounge clothes too!! Then her love for all things Mickey Mouse related is unreal. So on this day, she wanted to combine the two. She insisted I put her pjs on Mickey. Poor Mickey had to wear girl pjs. Ha!! Mickey stayed like this buckled up in my car for a few days.

Emma's Valentine Party

Since Valentine's Day fell on a Friday this year, I was able to leave work as soon as all of my kids left. Emma's class was having a party at 3:30, so I had plenty of time to get there to celebrate with her. Her teacher took a picture of us when I got there. Emma has a band-aid because she had a "boo boo" on her head. The girl has a love for band-aids. Her daddy cannot stand them!! Lol!! The party was a lot of fun. They ate and played games. It is so much fun to watch Emma interact with her school friends. 

Little Mama in Training

Emma is going to be a great little mama........I mean big sister! She loves to make sure her dolls are covered up. This night, she made sure they had juice at bedtime just like she does! I can't wait to see her in big sister mode!

 We went to deliver dinner to some friends and she wanted to cover up their dog, Susie and read her a bedtime story. She has such a sweet, caring spirit!! I can't wait to hear her read Landon bedtime stories.
