Playing in the Dirt

We came to my mom's yesterday while Scott had to work later. She cooked us an awesome meal of fried chicken, red potatoes, squash, and butter beans. We rode the golf cart twice and helped water plants. Then Emma shocked me!!! She played in the dirt. She is a girly girl and does not like to be dirty.

 Emma was so excited to finally see Landon, who we had been talking about for nine months. :)

Going Home

I was determined to get out of the hospital and in the comfort of my own home as quick as possible! I was ready to see Emma!! We left the hospital as soon as his 24 hour tests were complete. Here I am getting him ready for his going home outfit.

Emma is being awesome!! She was bringing stuffed animals & food from her room into his room. She even pulled down books for him in case in wanted to read them. Haha!! :)

I am loving my family of FOUR! While I am posting this, Emma is currently at Disney World with my mom. They left yesterday morning and will return Sunday. She is having a blast and it is giving time for us to adjust to a newborn baby!

Our Sweet Landon Is Here

Landon arrived Monday, July 21st at 10:57 a.m. He weighed 8.3 pounds and was 21.5 inches long. We are in love with our sweet baby boy!! Here is Scott and I during my labor.

My mom and I during my laboring. She was in the room for the birth of Emma and I knew I wanted her to experience the birth of Landon with me too!

I was just eating ice since that is all I could have at the time! But you better believe I ate a cheeseburger as soon as Landon was born. I ate the same thing as soon as Emma was born! :)

I am so thankful I got to hold him skin to skin for a solid hour after he was born. Mom left at this time to go home and get Emma. We wanted Emma to meet him before anyone else got to meet him.

 It was time for me to be wheeled to my mother/baby room. Emma insisted on riding with Landon and I to the new room, and there was no way I was going to tell her no!!!

Who needs a hospital hat when you can wear a Boston hat?!!? :) Our hospital stay was short & sweet. We were home by lunch time on Tuesday!!

Gymnastics/Frozen Party

So I am officially 2 days past my due date, but that isn't stopping us from having fun on this Saturday. It was raining so Emma had to wear her rain boots!! We met my mom for lunch at one of her and Emma's favorite places- Chili's. They love their chips and dip!

 Emma had her 2nd birthday party at this same gymnastics place. She loves it! She played in the foam pit, jumped, walked the balance beam, and swung on the rope swing! She never likes it when it is time to stop and go eat food & open presents!

 The party was Frozen themed and Kendra went all out with the food for her sweet girl, Kylan. 

Daddy/Emma Date Night

We all went to eat pizza together as a family before we went our separate ways. After pizza, Scott and Emma went to play at Chuck E Cheese and I went and had a very nice pedicure!! I love that Scott sets aside time just for him & Emma. The next date night they have in August, I will be at home with our sweet little boy!!

Bike Ride Done Differently

Here I am 39 1/2 weeks pregnant about to ride bikes around my mom's neighborhood!!

We did not bring our bike trailer for Emma and she wanted to ride so we made it work!! She had fun riding with her daddy.

 We all made it back to mom's safe and in one piece!!! :)
