We went to the Tomlinson's tonight for dinner and to let the kids play. Boys will be boys and they were showing off their muscles in just their boxer briefs! :) The girls played dress up and all things girly. It was a fun evening! We are so blessed that our kiddos play so well together! We didn't last until midnight, but instead came home to watch the ball drop.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." -Jeremiah 29:11- We don't know the plans God has for Emma & Landon's life, but we are excited to be on the journey with them!!

Riding Bikes
Emma has been so scared to learn how to ride her bike without training wheels. Scott has been working with her this week and each time she was getting a little more comfortable. We told her when she learned to ride it on her own, we would give her $20! She was excited about that. :) Here she is last night riding. It was the first night she was on her own. Scott captured these pictures.
Then today we all got out for a nice afternoon stroll around the neighborhood. It was the first time I was around Emma where she was riding her bike all on her own.
Landon was excited to ride his bike too!
Scott also rode his bike and I walked with Georgia. It was a nice outing and I can't wait to do it more often as the weather warms up and the days start becoming a little longer!

Christmas with Scott's Families
Scott's mom and Larry came over on Christmas Eve afternoon. They got Emma this Enchantimal play set so she can use it with all of her recent enchantimal dolls. They got Landon some matchbox cars but he wasn't into getting his picture taken.
Then we did Christmas with the Childs side of the family on today. Scott's dad, Susan, Grandma Mary, Ashleigh, and Clay all came over for dinner. We ate southern syle food and then opened gifts. Landon was excited about his sleeping bag. Emma already has one and he has been wanting one for awhile now. Emma got some more enchantimal dolls.
Here is sweet Grandma Mary modeling her hat we got her. She visits Hardee's daily just about so we always buy her a gift card for Christmas.
After opening our gifts, we played the gift wrapping game where you partner up and each partner can only use one hand to help wrap and label the gift. Landon and I won the game!
Ashleigh and Clay came in second place.
And Emma and Grandma Mary came in last. Emma was not too thrilled about that. Haha! It was quite funny to watch Emma's facial expressions during this game. Grandma Mary wanted it all to be perfect and neat and Emma just wanted it to be over!
It was a fun game and a lot of laughs were shared!

Our Christmas
The kids love opening one present on Christmas Eve. This year they chose this present and were excited to see Scruff-a-Luvs. Emma has been begging for one and all of that begging made Landon want one.
Then it was off to bathe them to see what animal they got. They both got puppies!
Then it was time for their Christmas pajamas and reindeer food. They love throwing the food out for the reindeers every Christmas Eve.
Here are their surprises from Santa.
Emma got her first dated American Girl doll. She asked for Nanea because she is from Hawaii and that is where Scott and I went this summer for our anniversary. Landon's big gift was the super hero set. Then Santa brought them a basketball goal to share. It will be nice to play some basketball in the spring and summer. They each got their own basketball to use.
We were all in to watching them open their presents that we did not take many pictures of us opening our gifts.
We were all in to watching them open their presents that we did not take many pictures of us opening our gifts.
Here was Emma and Landon's last gift to open. They each got their own rolling suitcase. They were so excited! Emma's has unicorns on heres and Landon's has dinosaurs on his.
Then Scott and Landon met my dad at the movies to watch the Bumblebee movie. Emma and I were going to go but instead we settled for movie popcorn and drinks and came back home to watch a more girly movie. :)
It has been a great day, but remembering the birth of our Lord and Savior has been the best part!

Christmas with PawPaw
We went over to my dad's today after church for our Christmas. We always have eggs, country and sugar ham, sausage, rice, hash brown casserole, and rolls. Bubba brought over some cinnamon rolls. It is always so yummy! Then the kids were past ready to open their gifts. They love opening their stockings and know it is always the first thing they get to open.
Emma was very excited about her Hatchimal egg.
My dad put a selfie light in mine and Krista's stocking. Emma was testing it out. Then Scott and I tested it out. We were very impressed that my dad saw it on TV and ordered it for us. :)
Landon is very much into opening gifts this season and I am pretty sure he helped my dad open every single one of his gifts. PawPaw didn't mind at all though.
Heidi was busy eating between opening her gifts.
And here is Landon also helping Scott open his gifts.
Emma being extra sweet and giving me some loving between presents.
It was a great time at my dad's and the cousins love each other so much! They get along great!
Christmas at NaeNae's House
We had Christmas at my mom's house this afternoon. We opened gifts and then ate dinner together. The kids always love seeing what is in their stockings.
Mom got some more mascara and Landon got a drawing book with his monkey handprint as the cover.
Emma got some more clothes for her build-a-bears and a big sticker book.
Landon was shocked and excited about his big Star Wars light saber.
Scott got another flannel shirt and then a Georgia bulldog cement figurine we will put on our porch.
Landon was excited about this lighthouse/octopus toy he can use with his toy cars.
They were both excited that NaeNae got them their very own iPads. Emma got a teal cover and Landon got an orange cover.
Here are Brandon and Krista and then Scott and I.
Heidi got a pink cover for her iPad. They were all testing them out.
Mom gave both families a watercolor drawing of our houses. Then Brandon got a picture of him in his police officer's uniform with a poem/prayer typed out beside it.
Mom took the kids to pain pottery for Scott and I. They painted me a cup that I will put my makeup brushes in and they painted Scott a Georgia Bulldog plate.
Matching in red plaid. :)
Mom gave me a card that said "shopping for clothes"- meaning she would give me some money when I went clothes shopping. Then a picture with my brother to make mom happy. :)
Landon and Heidi wanted to take a bath with their new bath paint. They love each other so much! So glad they are close in age and get along so well!
It has been a great Christmas!!!
