It was about 30 or so minutes from where we live and in the country. It was such a nice place. It sat on about 800 acres. It sat back a couple of miles off the main road. The road was curvy and it had tons of timber trees and a couple of ponds along the way.
We took another curve and got the view of the wedding site, a gazebo over looking a pond. It was so pretty and peaceful. We rode there with a some good friends of ours, Kalynn, Aaron, and Erica.
Erica's husband, John, was signing in the wedding. Emma did so good during the ceremony. She sat so still in my mom's lap during the whole thing. She would talk some but it did not get too loud thank goodness. She just sat there and ate her goldfish and drank her juice.
Then we went to the cute cabin/deck where we ate BBQ, potato salad, baked beans, pasta salad, and rolls. We took Emma to look at the pond for a little bit.
There were several good friends of ours there from the church we all grew up in. The place had a nice playground set for the kids to play on, which was great. The kids stayed on it most of the reception. Emma got to swing after we ate.
The wedding cakes were great too. Emma loved eating them as well. After the dancing started, we headed home since Emma was getting tired. She fell asleep about 5 minutes after we left.
