Today was such a busy but fun day for us! I am writing one blog about our great day so there are a lot of pictures.
Our day started out at Chehaw Park where we went to see the Indian Festival that comes there every year. Scott was asked to get video for a promo commercial to advertise for next year's festival, so Emma and I tagged along with him. It had been awhile since I went to the Indian Festival and was wanting to go this year, so it worked out nice.
The first stop was to see the dancers. The little girl dancer was so cute to watch. Here is Scott taking a break to watch the dancers with Emma.
Emma loves riding on his shoulders. This was after Scott was finished filming and we were going to see some of the animals inside the zoo.
Then we went and saw the alligators. It just happened to be feeding time. There were probably at least two dozen alligator's in this area. You could buy a cup of food to throw into the water for them to eat. They feed them every Saturday/Sunday at a certain time. The guy said this was the first time they have fed them since the Fall since they use their body fat in the winter.
The last stop before we left was to visit the petting zoo. We bought a bag a food to feed the llamas, the pig, donkeys, and ponies. Emma even fed them a piece or two of food. Then we immediately went and watched our hands like twice!!
She was keeping an eye on the tan/brown llama.
After we got home and ate lunch, Emma and I, went to a friends house so her sweet baby and Emma could have fun in her new pools. Her baby was born two days after Emma. Here is Emma getting ready to leave our house and go swimming.
Here is Emma playing in one of the pools.
Here are Emma and Kenley playing the the crab pool. It was so cute. It had a waterfall that the girls loved playing in.
After about two hours of playing in the water and being water logged, Emma and I went back home. Scott was grilling out salmon. It was delicious!! Emma ate everything we ate and loved it all. I am so glad to have a good eater!!
Today has been such a wonderful day!!! We are truly blessed.
